Title: Network Technician E&I
Power the Network – Keep Energy Flowing Safely and Reliably
As a Network Technician, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining and repairing the Instrumentation and Electrical (E&I) systems that keep our gas transportation network operating safely and efficiently. From inspecting and testing instrumentation on pressure reduction sites to supporting operational activities and troubleshooting faults, you’ll be at the heart of ensuring reliability across our assets.
This is a hands-on role where your technical expertise will make a real difference. You’ll work across the network, tackling varied challenges and contributing to the safe and effective delivery of energy to millions of customers.

What you’ll bring
- Experience in Electrical & Instrumentation maintenance and fault finding.
- Electrical testing and inspection qualification (C&G 2391 or equivalent).
- Instrumentation and Control or Electrical qualification.
- COMPEX EX01–04 certification.
- Ability to read technical drawings and work independently.
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Knowledge of relevant legislation and standards (e.g., BS7671, EAWR, Health & Safety).
