When should I hear from someone regarding my application?
After submitting your application, you will receive an email confirming receipt of your application. Once your application has been reviewed by a member of our Talent Acquisition team, we will be in touch regarding the next steps. As proud members of the Circle Back Initiative, we’d like to assure you that you will hear back from us, regardless of the outcome of your application.
When are the Future talent schemes being advertised?
Our Future Talent programmes are open at selected times in the year. We advise for you to keep an eye on our Future Talent pages for more information, or follow our social channels for up to date news on when the recruitment windows will be open.
I work for an employment agency, temporary staffing firm, or consulting business. How can I present applicants to you?
We have a PSL in place that is not currently up for review.
Please note: If you’re not currently on our PSL and we’ve not instructed you to work on a vacancy, please understand that any candidates you send to us will not be deemed to have been introduced to us by you.
Will my role be Hybrid?
Cadent offers Hybrid Working arrangements where business need allows. This is an informal, non-contractual form of flexible working that blends working from your base location, different Cadent sites and / or from home (please be aware that this role can only be worked in the UK and not overseas). Some roles will not be suitable for Hybrid Working. Similarly, Hybrid Working will not suit everyone’s circumstances. Arrangements will be discussed and agreed with the successful candidate(s) and subject to regular review.
For network advertised roles, the successful candidate(s) will be appointed to a Cadent location, which may include their nearest depot or office. This will be discussed and agreed on the completion of pre-employment checks.
What flexible working arrangements are available?
Employees regularly work with their managers on a case-by-case basis to evaluate flexible work arrangements, including part-time, job-sharing, and telecommuting based on employee and business needs. If flex-work is important to you, be sure to mention it to your recruiter so they can find out if it’s possible in the role you’re pursuing.
Will I receive feedback on my application?
Yes, as part of our commitment to The Circle Back Initiative, you will receive communication about the status of your application, regardless of the outcome. If you would like detailed feedback to support you in your job search and development, drop us an email and a member of our team will get back to you as soon as possible.
Do you offer Skilled Worker Visa Sponsorship?
There are many jobs for which the company might be able to sponsor visas, depending on the requirements of the job and the qualifications of the candidate. Feel free to apply to any jobs you're qualified for. If the role is appropriate for visa sponsorship and you're qualified for the job, the recruiter will let you know how to proceed with the interview process.
