We’re looking for a proactive and detail focused Streetworks & Reinstatement Data Support to join our team, supporting streetworks and reinstatement activities, this role can be based anywhere across the East Midlands network.

 

This is a secondment opportunity (until 1st July 2027) with a hybrid working pattern, including travel across the network as required.

As part of the Streetworks & Reinstatement team, you’ll play a key role in ensuring compliance with legislation while supporting operational performance. You’ll work closely with teams and stakeholders to manage permits, resolve issues, and reduce risk to the business.

What you’ll be doing

 

Manage permits & ensure compliance

  • Review and manage streetworks permits, offences, and charges (e.g. S74, FPN, defects)
  • Ensure all activity meets legislative and internal requirements

 

Support operational performance

  • Analyse performance metrics and support delivery against SLAs
  • Prioritise workloads to ensure efficient day-to-day operations

 

Coordinate & collaborate with stakeholders

  • Build relationships with internal teams, local authorities, and external partners
  • Act as a key contact point for streetworks related queries

 

Maintain systems & improve processes

  • Update and maintain systems (e.g. SAP, Street Manager)
  • Manage shared inboxes and workflows (e.g. doc box)

What you’ll bring

 

You’ll be organised, detail oriented, and confident working in a fast paced environment. You’ll have a strong focus on accuracy, compliance, and continuous improvement.

 

Experience

  • Experience in streetworks, permitting, or administrative support (advantageous)
  • Understanding of streetworks legislation (e.g. NRSWA, TMA) and permitting processes

 

Skills

  • Strong organisational and decision making skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines
  • Strong IT skills (particularly Excel, SAP, and Street Manager)
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills
  • Detail-focused with a continuous improvement mindset
