We’re looking for a highly analytical and proactive System Analyst – Control Room to join our team, supporting performance and delivery , this role can be based anywhere across the East Midlands network.

 

This is a full time role, 37 hours, Monday to Friday with a hybrid working pattern, including time on site and travel across the network as required.

This is a high impact role where you’ll combine analytical expertise with operational awareness to improve efficiency and ensure strong regulatory performance.

What you’ll be doing

 

Analyse performance & drive insight

  • Analyse operational and system data to identify risks, trends, and improvement opportunities
  • Turn data into clear, actionable MI (e.g. SLA performance, data quality, missing evidence)

 

Support operational delivery & performance

  • Resolve issues, remove blockers, and support day to day performance management
  • Support Jeopardy Management and escalations across operations

 

Improve processes & efficiency

  • Develop and implement standard operating procedures
  • Identify and deliver process improvements to enhance productivity

 

Collaborate & manage risk

  • Work closely with internal teams and stakeholders
  • Support regulatory compliance (including GSOP and reporting requirements)

What you’ll bring

 

You’ll be a detail focused and analytical professional with strong operational awareness. You’ll be comfortable working with complex data and influencing stakeholders to drive performance improvements.

 

Experience

  • Experience working in a fast paced operational or control room environment
  • Experience analysing performance data and supporting decision making
  • Understanding of risk management, regulatory reporting, or compliance processes

 

Skills

  • Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insight
  • Knowledge of GSOP, risk, Jeopardy Management, and MI reporting
  • Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
