Title: Planning and Scheduling Support
Base Location: Hybrid between Smith Street, Coventry (CV6 5SL) and home. Typically 2 days per week in office

We have an exciting permanent opportunity for a Planning and Scheduling Support to join the Operational Planning team. This role plays a key part in supporting the delivery of operational plans, ensuring work is effectively coordinated and performance is maintained across the network. This role is hybrid up to 3 days per week in Smith Street Depot, Coventry.
Working closely with Operational Planning and Operational Delivery teams, you’ll help manage priorities, support scheduling activity and contribute to delivering a consistent, high-quality service in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

- Support the delivery of operational plans by creating work orders and coordinating scheduling activities in line with business priorities
- Analyse and interpret data to provide insights that support team and operational performance
- Collaborate with teams across the business to coordinate work and maintain a clear, end-to-end view of delivery requirements
- Support the development of standard operating procedures, ensuring processes are efficient and aligned across planning activities
- Assist in managing workload priorities, responding quickly to changing business demands
- Carry out administrative and scheduling activities in line with established guidelines and procedures
Maintain high levels of organisation and attention to detail, ensuring data accuracy and right-first-time delivery - Support performance tracking by contributing to the measurement of team objectives and identifying areas for improvement
- Assist with onboarding and training of new colleagues to promote consistency and adherence to processes
What You'll Bring
- Planning & Coordination Skills – Experience supporting planning, scheduling or administrative activity in a fast-paced environment
- Data & Analytical Capability – Ability to analyse information and use data to support performance improvements
- Systems & Technical Knowledge – Competence in Microsoft Office and experience with systems such as SAP or ClickSoftware
- Communication Skills – Strong verbal and written communication, with the ability to build effective working relationships
- Organisation & Attention to Detail – Highly organised, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and ensure data accuracy
- Collaboration & Teamwork – A team player who contributes to a high-performing, customer-focused environment
