Title: Commercial Property Officer
Base Location: Hybrid between between Cadent’s Head Office near Coventry (CV7 9JU) and home - typically 1-2 days per week in the office with occasional travel to Slough office (SL2 5NA). This role offers flexibility while maintaining close collaboration with colleagues, stakeholders and suppliers across our property portfolio.

We have an exciting opportunity to join Cadent's Property Team. In this role, you'll provide comprehensive administrative, governance and coordination support across our commercial property portfolio, helping to ensure our estates, projects, contractors and property services are managed efficiently, compliantly and cost effectively. Working closely with senior property stakeholders, you'll play a key role in maintaining critical property information, supporting project delivery, coordinating governance activities and driving continuous improvement across the Estates and Projects function.

- Be at the centre of Estate and Projects day to day operations. Support the effective management of Cadent's commercial property portfolio, ensuring key activities, records and stakeholder requirements are coordinated and delivered efficiently.
- Own critical property data and reporting. Produce accurate reports, dashboards and management information covering property costs, utilisation, leases and project activity to support informed decision-making.
- Support strategic property projects. Help coordinate project governance, approvals, documentation and reporting through the property life cycle, enabling successful delivery of property initiatives across the business.
- Develop broad commercial property experience. Gain exposure to estates management, leases, contractor governance and capital projects within a large, regulated organisation.
- Build influential relationships. Work closely with senior stakeholders, project teams, contractors, suppliers and colleagues, internal and external, to support delivery and continuous improvement.
- Drive efficiency and value. Identify opportunities to improve processes, reduce costs and enhance the effectiveness of property services across the portfolio.
- Support compliance and governance. Help maintain statutory documentation, contractor records and governance processes to ensure regulatory and corporate requirements are met.
- Make a real impact. Play a key role in ensuring property information, systems and processes support the successful operation of Cadent's estate.
What you'll bring
- Commercial Property Administration Experience with experience supporting commercial property, estates, facilities management or property project functions.
- Lease & Property Knowledge including experience maintaining lease records, monitoring lease events, landlord details, service charges and associated property documentation.
- Project Support Experience with an understanding of project delivery environments, supporting Project Managers and maintaining project records, governance documentation and reporting.
- Data Management & Attention to Detail with the ability to review property documentation, extract key information and maintain accurate records across multiple systems and trackers.
- Reporting & Analysis Skills with experience producing reports, dashboards and management information for stakeholders.
- Organisation & Prioritisation with the ability to manage multiple priorities, deadlines and competing demands while maintaining high levels of accuracy.
- Stakeholder Management Skills with the confidence to build effective working relationships with colleagues, suppliers, contractors and senior stakeholders.
- Commercial Awareness with an understanding of property-related costs, supplier management and business objectives.
- Systems & Technology Skills including strong Microsoft Office capabilities, particularly Excel. Experience of SAP and Ariba would be advantageous.
- Customer Focus with a proactive approach to delivering excellent service and support.
- Full UK Driving Licence and willingness to travel as required.
Qualifications & Experience
- Full UK Driving Licence.
- Professional qualification in Administration, Estates Management or a related discipline (desirable).
- Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience of SAP, Ariba or similar business systems desirable.
- Experience within a regulated business environment would be beneficial.
- Corporate Real Estate experience or exposure would be advantageous.
