Job Purpose

An exciting opportunity has become available for an Asset Data Capture Administrator to join our North West team!

The successful individual will provide administrative support to the team along with advice and support via different communication channels. The would be expected to maintain and develop working relationships and work within and promote the philosophy of safe team working.

A broad knowledge of Cadent’s Core Policies and Procedures is expected as well as ensuring efficiency and compliance to said policies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Responsible for the collation and validation of asset data submitted via colleagues completing data capture activities 
  • Play a key role in ensuring that accurate asset data capture is uploaded into Cadent core asset repositories in a timely manner
  • Work with a high level of accuracy and attention to detail
  • Identify and escalate any discrepancies to the Team Leader, the Asset Data Team and Operations, where appropriate
  • Attend and constructively participate in regular Team Briefs as required. Where necessary attend internal / external training
  • Where necessary, maintain company brand / expectations with regards to customer service and satisfaction
  • Support with team absence / annual leave
  • Liaise with relevant stakeholders to achieve the performance and quality targets / expectations
  • Review and apply analysis of performance and quality MI systems feedback e.g. allocated reports, whereabouts, performance statistics
  • Seek out coaching / development opportunities
  • Comply with the implementation of process / procedure updates in line with business developments
  • Comply with policy / local work procedures
  • Carry out any other duties appropriate in accordance with business needs

 

The role holder will also be accountable for:

  • Chasing for missing information and resolution to queries with Operations / data capture colleagues
  • Validating documents against as-laid / abandon / span sheet
  • Creating Resolve by Project / DR4, if required
  • Checking against designs / REP2 for stub lengths and undertake deferral process if required
  • Submitting session to Asset Data Team for Digitisation
  • Resolving any queries raised within the Asset Data Team
  • Other general admin tasks that are required in the Asset Data Capture Team

Skills and Experience

  • Competent in the use of standard desktop packages, i.e. Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Motivated to learn new skills and tools and be flexible to deal with change
  • Self-aware and understand their personal impact on others
  • Well organised, motivated, resourceful 
  • Ability to work accurately within tight deadlines and on their own initiative
  • Working knowledge of RE23, DR4, the associated Local Work Procedures and its applications(desirable)
  • Working knowledge of ESRI, SAP and supporting systems (desirable).
