Be part of a logistics team that delivers
Become a Cadent logistics operative and take on a position that keeps you on your toes. You’ll play a key part in ensuring materials flow smoothly through the supply chain. This is a fast-paced environment that demands strong organisational skills and a proactive approach.
What you’ll be doing
- Managing Materials: Picking, receiving, and handling stock through our warehouse management system.
- Maintaining Accuracy: Verifying stock levels, managing PPE and non-stock items, and coordinating site waste processes.
- Operating Equipment Safely: Using mobile plant and lifting equipment correctly, ensuring everything is checked, maintained, and stored properly.
- Customer Support: Acting as the first point of contact for queries and requests, and occasionally assisting with call-out or roving store duties.
What we’re looking for
- Full UK Driving Licence
- Previous experience in logistics or warehousing
- NVQ Level 2 (or equivalent) in distribution and warehousing
- Strong understanding of Health & Safety practices, hazard reporting, and compliance.
- Computer literate, with good reading, writing, and numeracy skills. Clear communicator with excellent attention to detail.
- Forklift, Telehandler, Combi Lift, or VNA licences are a bonus – but not essential
Why you’ll love it: You’ll be part of a supportive team, working in a role that’s varied, hands-on, and essential to keeping operations running smoothly. If you thrive in a busy environment and take pride in doing things right, this is the job for you.
