Lead project development and delivery
Develop business cases, initiate projects, manage scope, track costs, and ensure projects are closed out accurately and on time.

 

Ensure safety, compliance and quality
Oversee SCO, CDM, G17 and all safety, assurance and design standards, ensuring contractors work safely and to approved documentation.

 

Coordinate resources and operations 
Work with internal teams and contractors to deploy competent resources, arrange network access, and support day‑to‑day site activities.

 

Oversee site performance and contractor management
Carry out site visits, monitor progress, identify defects, manage inspections, and escalate performance issues where needed.

 

Support technical, SHE and continuous improvement activities
Provide technical support, contribute to SHE performance, report incidents, support risk assessments, and drive continuous improvement and future‑energy initiatives.

 

 

What You'll Bring:

 


Essential Qualifications

This role requires a valid UK driving licence, an HNC/SNVQ/NVQ or equivalent engineering qualification, along with IOSH and SCO AE/CP certifications.


Technical Knowledge

A strong understanding of gas plant and process systems is essential, along with good awareness of Cadent Core Processes.


Contract & Project Skills

The role requires a solid understanding of contract management and the ability to support and manage project delivery effectively.


Operational Competence

Applicants must be confident applying engineering techniques in safety‑critical environments and demonstrate broad technical awareness across network engineering practices.
