Job Purpose

An exciting role has become available for a Systems Admin & Data Specialist to join the HR team at Cadent!

The role is to be a part of a specialist team to manage the data, MI, systems administration and provide support for the HR data provision across Cadent.  To deliver Projects to facilitate timely testing for upgrades to ensure services for end users is uninterrupted and improved.The role is to be a part of a specialist team to manage the data, MI, systems administration and provide support for the HR data provision across Cadent.  To deliver Projects to facilitate timely testing for upgrades to ensure services for end users is uninterrupted and improved.

Undertake and be a subject matter expert for the full MI Reporting suite, SuccessFactors suite, system management alongside administration tasks to support the business needs. To deliver timely testing for quarterly releases to ensure services for end users is uninterrupted and improved. Ensure that we maximise investment and value add to the business. Pro-actively look for business improvements and focus on the use of technology to drive change across the HR function and the wider business where appropriate.

 

Technical support of any other systems/processes alongside the SuccessFactors suite working alongside IT to analyse and maintain where relevant the impact(s) on downstream systems

To support and undertake Data Management and Production, support Projects within HR services to ensure data is kept up to date regularly.

Key Responsibilities

  • Support, design, configure, implement, optimise and continuous improvement of the full SuccessFactors suite: including management of new requirements, pro-active continuous improvement, planned technical changes e.g. half yearly releases
  • Inputs to Projects: Support and lead HR inputs to projects and system changes/implementations to facilitate these being completed to realise objective in a timely and efficient manner. 
  • SuccessFactors Workbook management: manage the SuccessFactors workbooks to ensure they remain up to date
  • Team Management: Manage the support team to ensure clarity of accountability and that the team is appropriately resourced, skilled and motivated to optimise its contribution to the business.
  • Workload planning: Ensure all work in the team is effectively planned and executed ensuing optimum use of resources and timely delivery to internal and external customers alike
  • Issue escalation: Ensure appropriate and timely escalation of issues where necessary to facilitate timely resolution.
  • Process Improvement:  Work with wider HR and business to Process map processes and making suggestions for improving the quality of the data, systems or manage process.
  • 1st line support: Point of contact for technical queries relating to HR systems from the business. Provide advice on HR data or systems impact from the relevant systems.
  • Defect management and Resolution: Support the gathering of evidence for defects in SuccessFactors which cannot be resolved on site, logging issues through the IS portal and working with SAP Support teams to ensure rapid resolution of issues and efficient operation of the systems.
  • Reports/Analytics: To interpret MI requirements and utilise raw data sources (SuccessFactors, SAP & any other relevant systems) to analyse, interpret and provide insightful and meaningful reports from a business context perspective – including production of data dashboards and centralised reporting (on an ad hoc and scheduled basis) where relevant aiming towards encouraging data driven decisions
  • System Access Requirements: Manage system access and shared folder requirements and manage relevant HR SharePoint sites to provide an effective service to users.
  • Ad-hoc responsibilities: Assisting with wider HR support when required.
  • Data, MI & Systems Process: Facilitate the day-to-day data, MI, and systems process delivery activities to ensure timely and efficient provision of services to end users.
  • Cover absences: Cover absences within the team by having the necessary cross skills to do so.
  • Internal Relationships: Work and lead effectively with the related teams and key business stakeholders to ensure a seamless working of the HR Processes

Skills and Experience

  • Technical knowledge of the SuccessFactors suite
  • Knowledge of Data, MI, and Systems
  • Knowledge of Project management and maintaining governance
  • Financial acumen
  • Sound knowledge of SAP system and reporting tools and technical needs associated with these
  • Ability to identify and manage system issues
  • Experience of supporting, designing, configuring, optimising and continuous improvement of the full SuccessFactors suite
  • Experience working within an HR environment and knowledge of HR processes
  • Stakeholder management - ability to communicate with stakeholders at all levels in the organisation
  • Strong collaboration skills
  • Demonstrable passion and commitment to excellence in continuous improvement and quality
  • Experience using Microsoft Office applications, specifically Excel, to a high level
  • Ability to investigate and identify the root cause of an issue and be able to see it through to resolution
  • Experience of data extraction, reconciliation and an understanding of hierarchy structures within a system
  • Positive and pro-active approach to continuous improvement and development
