Are you ready to shape how Cadent is seen by regulators, stakeholders, and the wider energy industry? As a Regulatory Performance Business Partner, you’ll play a pivotal role in driving performance excellence and telling our story to the world.
This is your opportunity to influence the development of, and how we deliver against, the RIIO framework, ensuring our performance is not only optimised but also recognised. You’ll work across the business and with external stakeholders to ensure our regulatory submissions are well evidenced, compelling, and aligned with our strategic goals.

What You Will Bring
You’re an effective communicator, a strategic thinker, and a regulatory expert who thrives on collaboration and continuous improvement. You bring a solid analytical background and a collaborative mindset, with a passion for driving performance and telling compelling stories through data.
- Qualifications – Solid analytical background with experience in regulatory frameworks. Degree in relevant discipline preferred or equivalent experience
- Regulatory Expertise – Deep understanding of the RIIO framework and regulatory mechanisms including the range of outputs and uncertainty mechanisms
- Influencing Skills – Ability to engage and influence internal teams and external stakeholders, including Ofgem.
- Analytical Acumen – Skilled in interpreting data, assessing cost drivers, and developing justifications that stand up to scrutiny.
- Leadership & Collaboration – A team player who can coach others, share knowledge, and drive performance improvement initiatives.
