Title: Management Accounting Specialist
Are you ready to make an impact in the financial world? Cadent has an exciting opportunity for a Management Accounting Specialist to join our Performance and Central department. This is a 12-month secondment opportunity where you will ensure financial processes are fit for purpose and operated consistently and controlled.
Reporting to the Performance Reporting Manager, you will form close relationships with senior stakeholders, Cost Centre and Project Managers, providing comprehensive financial support to help them make well-informed decisions.
To be considered for this opportunity, you must be a fully qualified accountant within a UK-recognised body.

Manage Accounting Processes: Oversee the periodic management accounting process for the Performance Reporting team.

Monthly Reporting: Manage the monthly reporting cycle, including setting timetables, liaising with stakeholders, and tracking completion.

Consolidate Reports: Collate and consolidate the Group’s performance reports, Budget, Forecast, and Business Plan data.

Ensure Accuracy: Ensure all financial statements are accurate, investigating anomalies and communicating irregularities to senior Finance managers.

Provide Support: Offer support and advice to senior Finance stakeholders across your area of responsibility.
What You Will Bring:

Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain financial issues and results to stakeholders at any level.

Financial Acumen: Good financial & commercial acumen with relevant post-qualification experience in financial management.

Relationship Building: Ability to build productive relationships with managers and other stakeholders across the business.

Problem Solving: Experienced in problem-solving, including challenging the norm and proposing options.

Technical Knowledge: Advanced knowledge of MS Excel, SAP, and BPC functionality.
