Lead the learning that builds capability and drives performance

 

As our Learning & Development Lead, you’ll play a strategic role in shaping how Cadent develops leadership, soft skills and business capability across the organisation. This isn’t just about delivering training – it’s about designing and leading high‑quality learning that supports performance, builds confidence at every level and strengthens our future capability.

 

This is a permanent role based at Ansty Business Park, Coventry, where you’ll act as a subject‑matter expert for leadership and behavioural development. You’ll lead the end‑to‑end learning cycle for non‑technical capability, working closely with senior leaders, HR colleagues and external providers to ensure learning solutions are relevant, engaging and aligned to business priorities.

 

You’ll set standards, drive innovation and ensure consistency across all internally and externally delivered programmes, while leading a team and influencing stakeholders across the business.

  • Governance & Consistency – Ensure all learning interventions meet agreed frameworks, governance standards and best practice.

What you’ll bring:

  • L&D Expertise – Strong experience designing and delivering leadership and behavioural learning programmes.
  • Strategic Thinking – Ability to translate business priorities into effective learning solutions.
  • Facilitation Excellence – Confident delivering training to a wide range of audiences, including senior leaders.
  • Stakeholder Influence – Strong credibility working with senior stakeholders and challenging constructively where needed.
  • Digital Capability – Experience using digital learning platforms and blended learning approaches.
  • Leadership Skills – Proven experience leading teams and influencing across organisational boundaries.
  • Continuous Improvement Mindset – Passion for innovation, quality and building a strong learning culture.

Qualifications:

  • Full UK driving licence (required)
  • CIPD Level 5 or above (desirable)
