Title: IAM Technology Specialist
Shape the future of secure access across a national infrastructure
As an IAM Technology Specialist at Cadent, you will play a pivotal role in designing and delivering secure, scalable identity and access management solutions across our enterprise. This is a hands-on technical leadership role where your expertise will help shape a secure-by-design culture and ensure seamless integration of IAM capabilities across cloud, SaaS, and on-premise systems.
You will work closely with the IAM Manager, Head of Cyber, and senior stakeholders to define and implement Cadent’s IAM strategy. From architecture and integration to governance and compliance, you will lead the development of modern IAM solutions that support over 7,000 users and align with Cadent’s business and security objectives.
This is a hybrid role with flexibility, offering the opportunity to influence enterprise-wide security architecture and collaborate with internal teams and external partners.

- Strategic Ownership – Define and deliver the IAM vision, roadmap, and architecture across the organisation.

Skills and Experience
You are a technically skilled and strategically minded IAM professional with a strong background in identity architecture, governance, and integration.
- Qualifications & Experience – Degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity or related field. Certifications such as CIAM, CISSP, or CISM are desirable.
- Technical Expertise – Deep knowledge of IAM protocols (SAML, OAuth, OpenID Connect), Entra ID, SAP SuccessFactors, and PAM tools like CyberArk.
- Architecture & Integration – Experience designing and integrating IAM solutions across hybrid environments using APIs, scripting, and automation.
- Security & Compliance – Familiarity with ISO 27001, NIST, GDPR, and other regulatory frameworks.
- Communication & Influence – Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
