As our Finance and Governance Officer, you’ll provide the specialist expertise that underpins the regulatory, financial and governance requirements of Cadent’s Social Programmes. You’ll play a pivotal role in supporting the delivery of the RIIO‑3 VCMA and BAU allowances, ensuring we meet all regulatory obligations while enabling community‑focused programmes that make a real impact.

Prepare dashboards, reports, and analysis using advanced Excel skills, presenting complex information simply and clearly to senior internal and external stakeholders.

What you’ll bring

Specialist Expertise

• Experience working with large datasets and strong analytical capability.
• Proficiency across spreadsheets and Microsoft tools, with advanced Excel skills.
• Strong understanding of regulatory frameworks and governance expectations.
• Experience in project delivery, programme management or financial reporting.

• Confident written and verbal communication skills, able to translate complex data into simple insight.
