As an Asset Investment Manager / Asset Strategy and Risk Manager at Cadent, you’ll be at the forefront of strategic decision-making, using cutting-edge modelling and risk analysis to shape the future of our network
This is a high-impact leadership role where your expertise in asset management, data modelling, and investment planning will directly influence the safety, reliability, and performance of our gas distribution infrastructure. You’ll support and guide a diverse team of specialists, collaborate with industry regulators, and drive innovation in how we manage our assets

What You Will Bring
You bring a strategic mindset, technical expertise, and a collaborative approach to solving complex challenges
Qualifications – Degree in a relevant field desirable or equivalent industry experience. Recognised certification in Asset Management. Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status preferred
Technical Mastery – Experience in asset management, risk modelling, or investment planning, whether in utilities, infrastructure, or a related field
Leadership – Strong people leader with the ability to build capability and drive change
Analytical Expertise – Skilled in data modelling, statistical analysis, and decision support tools
Regulatory Acumen – Understanding of RIIO frameworks and experience engaging with regulators
Communication – Effective communicator who can translate complex data into actionable insights and engage with a wide range of audiences
