Shape the strategy that powers the future of gas distribution

Ready to lead in transforming the UK’s gas infrastructure? At Cadent, we’re looking for a strategic thinker and technical powerhouse to drive long-term investment in our high-pressure gas network (below 2 bar).

You’ll be at the heart of how we plan, justify, and deliver smarter, data-driven decisions that shape the future of our network. From regulatory insight to technical leadership, your work will influence how millions of people experience energy.

In this role, you’ll take the lead in shaping asset strategies that strike the right balance between cost, risk, and performance. You’ll dive deep into complex datasets to guide investment decisions and ensure we meet our regulatory commitments. Working closely with engineering and investment teams, you’ll embed robust decision-making frameworks and support our journey toward ISO55001 accreditation. Your insights will influence strategic planning across the business, helping us deliver long-term value to customers and stakeholders while driving operational success.

This is a high-impact leadership role where your expertise in asset management, data analytics, and stakeholder engagement will directly shape our business planning and operational success.

Join us and be part of a team that’s not just maintaining infrastructure – but redefining it.
